#369 was programmed on Saturday. No problem and process took just under one hour. An improvement in low end torque; engine breaking; lopey idle and overall performance. Thanks Ford for an innovative idea. Anyone put a TracKey car on a dyno yet?

Thats just the key, you still have to pay a dealer to install it.

The more I drive mine with TK the more I like it.

TRACKEY ACTIVE!!!!

You're gonna love it.

I hope you still have good weather so you can enjoy it before spring. What part of the country do you live?

Bump!

Seemed the right place to ask, are there any options when they install it? I saw a reference to an octane adaptive setting somewhere, but couldn't find anything else.

Or does anyone have a link to the installer instructions, as opposed to the owner instructions?

Thankies

I have a .pdf file I could email you of "TracKey_Dealer_Technician_Instructions_V1.3".

Found it on google now that I know the name to search for. Really appreciate it, I hate going in for things like this without a little knowledge.

Gary, you may want to update post 1 with the new instruction. ;)

Probably a dumb question, but I would appreciate any input. So you get the track key activated. What happens if anything if down the road you install a cold air intake and long tube headers. I know the warranty question, but what about the track key paramaters, still ok?

They say not to do it, you will probably need a custom tune. So track key $ goes down the toilet. But when they do your custom tune, they should pull the old one so you can reinstall it if you go back to stock.

Does any one know why they require the axel ratio and tire size for the install? Is this to correct the speedometer calculation or something better like track settings for the ABS?

I had mine installed March 23 2012 at my dealer in Canada Ontario, they received my program last Dec 2011 but i just took my car # 2814 out of storage with 91km on it, The install went great, took an hour,no problems, the first and only one they did.My display says TRACKEY ENGINE ENABLED not ENGINE IDLE ENABLED just wondering :)
