Turn One Instruction ?

So I'm wanting to go to CMP (Carolina Motorsports Park) and I've never been. I saw there was a deal on motorsportreg that was 5 20 min sessions with an instructor. It seemed geared towards people who have never been on track. I thought it would be good for learning the track and getting some tips. I was curious if anyone else has done this ? ...wasting my time or this will really be beneficial?

You don't mention if there is an additional cost but unless you're Mario Andretti I don't see how having a qualified instructor ride shotgun can hurt.

Its pretty easy- all you need to know is :
Go real fast, .....then turn!
Easy as pie.

An actual instructor may give you a bit more advice. ;-)

Well I emailed them several times trying to find the schedule before signing up and had a few other questions. Nobody ever responded so I just went to open track day. Figured I'd learn the hard way like everything else I do.

Pretty fun track run a 1:51 I'll post up a video later.
