Under Coat?

So, I just brought my Boss home yesterday. Dealer asked if I wanted his upsold undercoat. Well, no thank you, don't want that black crap sprayed all over the place. However, I was thinking I should spend some time this weekend spraying the underside with a corrosion prevention since I live in the rust belt. I use Boeshield T-9 on my 4-wheeler's and tools for rust prevention.

Should I use the Boeshield T-9 to spray under the car or does anyone have a better idea?

Thanks all.

Never used that product but let us know how it works.

Bikers I know swear by this stuff, but a motorcycle frame is not the underside of a Boss. I am not driving in the salt and hardly ever in the rain, so I don't need it.

I've had a can of Boeshield for years that I used on my tablesaw for rust prevention.

I ran across a thread on the garden tractor forum I read, and someone said Fluid Film is a great product also at about $12 a can. Some used it on the bottom of their pickup to reduce rust--check out the reviews.

LPS 3 is also a heavy duty rust inhibitor. I have an aircraft mechanic friend, and he swears by the LPS line of products (1, 2, and 3).
