Previous tranny scoop was very in very bad shape so we made this one up while waiting for a Tilton pump to arrive for a tranny oil cooler.

Its wider and not quite as low.... has two more 1/2 wings before then end. Tried it out with a big fan and seems to be a improvement.... My buddy made it up for me, he is prone to pulling strange things out of his hat in the middle of the night. Curious to see how it fits with the new Moroso oil pan thats on the way as well.

Interesting. Ive been considering buying a 2nd one to send to my brother. I want him to build me a better version out of stainless.

(He has tons of stainless laying around, material is no cost to me.)

Nice to have lying around!! You have to be careful not to make it to low or off road adventures could turn them into a plow.

yeah, I wouldn't want it any lower. I was thinking wider, and having the rear end go up higher in the rear kinda like a "U" shaped cutout to go up around the rear of the trans.

I dunno. Seems like a fun project to experiment with. My boss 302 air scoop is beat up.
