Upgrading the stock hydraulic lines

You clear out the ABS reservoirs. Otherwise if you engage ABS then the old fluid will mix with the new. It won't get all the old stuff out, but enough that it doesn't matter anymore. Dealers usually have as special scan tool that will open the abs circuit but the normal ones won't do it. At least based on other cars I've had, didn't look into it specifically for the Boss.
