I purchased my yellow blaze boss used with 400 miles on her from lamborghini of dallas. The previous owner traded it in on a new lambo it has become a garage queen, I have owned it for four months and have only 500 miles on her guess I should sell it.

Phil, your car your call. If you're thinking about keeping as an investment, you have the right color IMO. But, even so, it will likely be quite a few years before it will really pay as an investment car.

Just out of curiosity, how come you haven't been blasting around in it?

Well the reason it has not moved much is I figure the more miles she gets the less it will be worth, correct me if i'm wrong.

Phil,

I guess I''m not going to be coy yes it is your car, but d@mn, while it is cool read about the cars that only have a few miles on them 30 - 40 years latter but how much fun did those owners have?

We're only here for a short time so why not have some fun!

When it's my time I want to go sliding into the grave used up with a smile on my face, and an epithet that reads, “D@mn that was fun!”

I have had many toys in my lifetime and have never really enjoyed them because of always wanting to keep them as nice as i could, but the down fall to that is as you said I have never really enjoyed anything i have owned, that really is a shame but just can't seem to break that habit sure wish i could be more like you.

I wish I could drive mine more, but due to health problems, I do not.
I only have 815 miles on mine, and all are local, no track time.
I am told old for it to be an investment, but I am always trying to keep it perfect, Wish I could stop that....oh well someone will in inherit a perfect boss with low mileage one day. LOL My wife will sell it and go to the casinoes.
LOVE THE TIME I SPEND IN IT, AND I DO RED LINE ITAT LEAST THROUGH THIRD GEAR, LOVE THE SOUND, FEEL. The old 70 Boss 302 I owned had only 57k original miles when I had to sell it, but
it was awesome, and I was able to take it toshows, etc.

I bought mine from a forum member here. Ibabeat. It had 680 miles on it. Got it in Pennsylvania stayed at my sisters house in Wash DC and next day drove 16 hours straight through to Central Florida. The seats were so comfortable I was able to sleep most of the way. Hardly any traffic on I 95. Nice trip. 79 MPH avr 19.6 MPG. Got 20.5 at around 65 MPH.

FWIW i had #0001 for about a month and half and sold it with over 1k on the clock. the buyer didn't bat an eye at mileage. i think if its clean and not damaged it wont affect your value until 50k or so. my current car now has 11,450 miles on it. time flies, i will have had it a year in April. funny the blown 10 i traded on the first boss had bored me greatly by now, i still get excited to drive the boss.

Damn, Phil...that's really a tough deal. Do you at least get a fair amount of pleasure then looking at it, sitting in it and just owning it? Then at least you'd be getting the high pure collectors get and that would be something right there!

Well long story short i originaly bought the car to resell because a close friend of mine came up with this plan sinse they were going to stop making yellow blaze then certainly someone would want that color and be willing to pay a little more for it ( NOT ) so the car sits in the garage waiting for someone to make me a fair offer . But if that won't happen then I will most likey start driving it.

Honestly, I don't think you'll have any trouble getting back your investment - and I think the rarest color of the 2012s will help you. If you don't make out now, then as soon as the economy gets healthier I'll bet you'll do fine selling it.
