I buy used slicks from usedracingtires like many people do. They generally have even wear upon arrival. They always have rubber build up on the inside as pictured below.
Are there any pros/ cons or best practices when mounting these ? I always mount then yellow side out. Anyone flip them?f12bf78e301e3ffd2cb0094ca8ce6942.jpg06bc26854b297e1b9da81c9e474343d1.jpgd784406490aa4ea112ccc7b7ba101c24.jpg

Pirelli has a directional arrow on some of them, others, not, they want the name out. I've flipped them to get the best wear and it doesn't seem to make a difference on any of them. A few minutes with a heat gun and a scraper across the wear indicators will give you a good idea of where the "good" part is.
