Mine is 3525 with fumes in the tank and me standing next to the scale. D-Force and HooHoos with Tiger Hood. That's as low as I can go unless I get all the fuel out and push it up the scales :)

Total weight savings so far is 133 lbs with passenger seat and 179 without it.

With a curb weight of 3630, I'm at 3451 to 3497 with or without the pass seat.

Enkei PF01 wheels/Continental slicks:
Front 56.2 stock vs 43.6 - 13 lbs each x 2 = -26 lbs
Rear 58.4 stock vs 46.6 - 12 lbs each x 2 = -24 lbs
DBA 5000 front rotors 25 stock vs 210 - 4lbs each x 2 = -8 lbs
Corsa Extreme axle backs (pair) 54 lbs stock vs 24 lbs = -30 lbs
Kooks Off-Road H-pipe 32 lbs stock vs 17 lbs = -15 lbs
Side pipe delete 5.5 lbs each = -11 lbs
Kooks LT headers vs stock manifolds = + 3lbs
Roll bar, mounts & harness bar +69 lbs.
Rear seat delete kit +12 lbs.
Remove rear seats and belts and factory mounts -54 lbs
Swap to the Tiger Hood -17 lbs
Remove washer bottle incl fluid -8 lbs
Remove flat repair kit -5 lbs
Sparco race seat 35lbs versus stock seat 46lbs = -11 lbs
302S tow hooks +2 lbs
FRPP air-to-oil cooler +8 lbs
1-pc DSS aluminum driveshaft vs stock -21 lbs
DS saftey loop +10 lbs
Trunk liner -7 lbs
Passenger seat -46 lbs (track only)

I need to get mine on some corners scales to see how it looks. I'm not sure pulling the passenger seat necessarily helps due to potentially overweighting the driver side. Since I only weigh 175 I'm still probably be about as balanced as a lot of guys at 220.

Thanks Gary, very informative.

What about a lightweight battery? Are you running one? Seems there's another potential 25-30 lbs of weight loss to be had.

Buy the parts on my list, we'll do it after dinner Friday night in Wisconsin ;D
Steve

Gary's thin enough that he needs to put his drivers seat in the trunk. Just like me. NOT !!! ;D

Pretty sure the stock battery is only 31 pounds to start with.

That is correct. I went with an Optima AGM battery which save 6 lbs NAND moved it to the right rear corner of the trunk. Cables, box and hardware put 9 lbs back in but I think the weight relocation is good for the car. The more we move back and down the less inherent under steer and the more work the rear tires will do. (and rear brakes)

OK here is mine, I figured out I had about 2 1/2 gallons of gas or about 15.4 pounds. Some other notable things are the fact I could only get -2.6 camber out of the car now. I can only assume this had something to do with the FR control arms and bumpsteer kit, I had -2.8 before. Going to have to modify that since I am told the Conti/Hoosier slicks like to be about -3, maybe less on ovals.

Notice the caster, the guys said it does make a difference on track. They wanted more toe out but I told them to go with 0 and err on the negative side.

Forgestar CF10 wheels with Pilot super sports which are lighter than the stock ones and two piece rotors. Thats it and half a tank of gas.

Corner weighed the Boss today with a FULL tank of gas:

With Driver
LF 1068 RF 976
LR 874 RR 818
Total 3736

Front 54.71%
Rear 45.29%

Left 51.98%
Right 48.02%

Cross LF/RR 1886 lbs 50.48%
Cross RF/LR f1850 lbs 49.52%

Weight without driver is 3559 lbs and with half tank of gas approximately 3499 lbs.

Had the chance to scale the car today

953 959
831 809
3552
That was a full tank of gas 101
No Driver
My helmet and Hans inside IDK 3 pounds?
and about 15 ballast in the tire well
so 3434 empty

If I calculated this correct - part weight divided by full weight it comes to
F 53.8
R 46.1
LF-RR 49.6
RF-LR 50.3

I am not real happy to see the front-rear where it is at. I had many of the same mods and others here, Tiger CF hood, - rear seat, - washer, - 2 piece driveshaft, - cats, and side pipes, lighter brakes and tires etc.

Added roll bar, FR radiator, tow hooks and some other small stuff. (also have a trunk mounted battery, coilovers)

Since my last weight I changed - front bumper to the FR lightweight one, took out all AC components in the engine bay and passenger airbag.

added the FR oil pan and 5 more quarts of oil, put all trunk lining back in and added ballast there

It is sooooo hard to get weight off the front and then super easy to add it back in

Scott- Those are nice numbers compared to mine. You appear to be 90 lbs lighter than mine, and probably more than that given you had a full tank. Do you have the passenger seat in? I have kept mine in as the balance is better.

I looked up the helmet and found only one site listing it as four pounds, maybe five total so lets say 92 pound ;D Yes I do keep the passenger seat in, with driver the car is heavy on the left side as you said. Gas is about 6.2 pounds a gallon. That figure is somewhere in the middle of the weight depending on temps. I think pilots also use that number. At that number it is 99.2 pounds but I did take off 101 since that was the number used when the car was setup the first time and it gave me two more pounds!

Just a hair over 3300 without driver.

That's a lot of sound deadener Drew, wish I could get there but not ready to go the distance like you at this point. What is your front to rear ratio?

Drew - That is impressive your got done to 3300. I am at 3646, half a tank and no driver. I get that yours is pretty much stripped, but none-the less, that still is not easy to remove all that weight like you have.

Weighed the car today. Improved front/ rear balance to 53.0/47.0 with Pufferfish Battery relocation kit and other mods and 3/4 tank of gas, no driver:

897 997
908 777

Left 50.4% 1805
Rear 47.0% 1685
Cross 53.2% 1904
Total 3578

Cross balanced to 50.5% with driver
