We'll be running the 13 hour at VIR this weekend

Good luck. Will Phoenix be doing any live streaming from the race like @elginracer has done in the past?

No we didn't do any streaming..it all fell apart in only the 3rd hour.
We qualified on the pole (against GT3R porsches I might add) led the first 3 or so hours or so and the clutch let go. We pulled it apart but the damage was extensive and it would've taken too long to put back together, so it kinda sucked. I couldn't even tell you who won the thing.
Odd thing is, we've never had clutch issues..just don't know..gremlins?

Yeah, pretty disappointing since we've never had a clutch issue like what we experienced. Still scratching our heads... It was fun up to that point, us and Fall-Line with their 997 Cup car were going back and forth for the lead. By an hour or so in we had already lapped 3rd place so it was going to be between us. It was fun to go 1:54.9 in qualifying. Not bad for still using the panhard rod in the back... 2.5 hours on a set of Hoosier A7's at an average pace of 2:00 lap times. Night practice was pretty awesome as VIR is very, very, very dark. It made stock headlights worthless.

Too bad it sounds like that was the last one. VIR is a great place to just turn laps no matter what. You can save fuel and brakes without loosing massive lap time unlike some other tracks out there so it really fits nicely with an endurance theme. With the repave a few years ago it made traffic management easier (still have to just wait in some areas) but the extra width helps a lot. If Thunderhill was a little closer to home we'd be eyeing that up. But good news is that I think our schedule is finally clear around the NJMP 12 hour (unless it moves weekends) so maybe we will run that one next year.

Yeah T-Hill is attracting some fast and reliable cars. Last year Kurt ran it in the Blue SLC and finished 2nd to Flying Lizard R8. It would be cool to build a GT3-type Mustang, but that will require a pile of money.

We ran them as stickers. Now it was 60 degrees and VIR had been re-paved in July so the track was not hard on tires. Plus we like to keep one off the ground to keep the wear down.
