Were Nitto 555R II's Discontinued?

I think so. The Nitto rep I met last year told me they would be but didn't give me a time frame. I checked the Nitto site yesterday and they were there. I checked again today and their site has been updated and the R2 is gone. Let's hope they start making more NT01's in the 305/35/18 going forward.

I was on there website last night also and they were there, but they are gone now. I see discount tire had some 555II's for sale though. I was thinking of buying 555II in 305 to run with my NT01 305s.

I think you'd be fine to mix them in dry conditions, they are basically the same compound. Hopefully more NT01's show up soon. BTW I'm glad I wasn't imagining the disappearance.

I finally recieved my set of NT555RII's. I will be running 305/35-18 all around... Any recommendations on tire pressure?? Was thinking 36psi hot.
