Replaced and re-routed the hose to the my diff catch can. There was a huge cut in it, which would explain why the back of my car was black at the end of the day ::)

Cool, Thank you. Looking forward for your track review.

My stock bushing should be near the end of his life after 2 years at the track but it was still good when I visually check it last week also don't have really much time to mess with it now. I'll probably change it this summer.

Based on this weekend only, I'd say there's noticeable improvement. Much of the clanking has reduced (probably play in the OEM busing). The car feels more planted at the rear on both power application, and braking. Lap times were improved at NCM. Finally, the car is now pushing more with understeer at the limit in corners. I think this is more likely exposing inherent set up, that is now more evident because I can push the braking and corner exit harder......

Would be interested in others comments....

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Solved the mystery of my Starter issue. Car would not start when hot, and voltage at relay would slowly climb from zero to 14 volts as the car cooled down. Cold start was not an issue until recently.

Turned out to be a bad solder joint on the S- terminal of the solenoid:

What? No more push starts to get you to grid? Glad you finally found the cause.

Re: What did you do to your boss today?

Finally installed the blowfish racing bracket. I bought the bracket last year and never installed it because as a newbie, i was not too confident doing it. It did take me a bit of time, but i watched the install videos including the 15 minute install one shot on xmas day...and then decided to give iit a try. Success! My only difficulty was trying to torque the upper and lower pieces that snug the shifter snout....I could not fit a small 10mm socket on it and then attach it to my torque wrench. i just used a 10mm open faced wrench and tightened it up..used the goodntight method. So any newbie can do it. i then took the car out for the test.

WOW! What a difference the blowfish shifter bracket makes. I used a 1/2 tank of gas real quick because of spirited driving. Felt like a whole new car, especially because I was not experiencing nibble, lockouts or any other shifter problem....great confidence builder driving with the new bracket. Overall, it was a great day for me and I highly recommend it to anyone with the stock shifter, even newbies. Thanks to Steve at blowfish racing.

I think you got a great deal as it's just a tad over Dealer cost. Ford ExtraCar ESP is one of the best Extended Service Contracts in the industry, with no fine print on the contract.

All ESP plans start coverage from the vehicles original Delivery Date.

This information is for anyone who has purchased a previously owned Boss 302, you can purchase a Ford ESP "New Car" Plan anytime within the first 36 Months or 36,000 Mile period beginning with the Original new car Delivey Date. All based on the vehicles Original Delivery Date to the first retail buyer. (Program Cars maybe different.)

Have fun out there and enjoy your Mustang,
