What is the difference between standard Boss 302 exhaust and 302R/S? If any?

Maybe I have been using the wrong search phrases, but... I can't find a tread (or an internet site for that matter) that outlines the differences between the exhaust systems.

If I understand correctly, the engines are essentially stock.

This may be heretical, but I am thinking about changing the exhaust on my Boss to lose the side pipes. In New Orleans I end up dragging them on the terrible streets here.

Thanks for any advice or help.

Here are the differences:

R - marmon flanges on the stock exhaust manifold. custom bent non-cat H-pipe and intermediate pipes. FRPP S mufflers

S - stock exhaust manifold. custom bent non-cat h-pipe with stock intermediate pipes. 2012 Shelby mufflers
