Hello!

I just bought my car, and I have a front control arm with a lot of play.

View attachment 77477

What is the best to put on it?
It's a full race car running on slick tires.

From what I already searched, I think that the Ford Racing ( M-3075-E ) would be the best choice ?

Thanks!
The Ford arms are pretty robust and they may bend but less likely to break.

You should be able to get much wider tire on your new Mustang, though that will entail some new wheels. I agree with xr7 on the control arm choice.

Those appear to be bmr tube c arms. Rebuild them. Probably get everything from bmr.
I'd do both not just 1.
Also the arm u mention I think is the grand am arm? If so it has extended ball joint my throw off bump steer/alignment

I have heard the BMR front control arms are a ticking time bomb, especially on a race car which runs slicks.

Wait for others to chime in, but if I was you I would do some research, the BMR arms have had many failures apparently.

Yes, I think they are BMR arms.
I don't really trust them, as they have mixed reviews.

I just ordered the Ford Performance parts M-3075-E

Happy to see the little extras (stickers, instruction sheet).

But I feel like I received bad parts, they look like 2011-2014 arms.
Is it a direct replacement or am I f*cked up?

A little side by side comparison :

I finally took the time to do this job.

It just worked.

What tire size would you suggest?
I think that's what they were using in the championship the car was running, Hankook 240/640 R18.

I plan to try both slicks and semi slicks.

I have to check but I guess my wheels are 9,5". So 255 or 265 should fit without any problem.

Here I thought I had every part memorized, but I have never seen heatshields for the front control arms before. Very interesting. What's the part number on those? Honestly just curious.

As the bushings are very close to stock cats, I think it’s a good idea to fit them.
I went the easy route by buying them, but you can easily fab them with some aluminium.
