What's up with the horn?

If you're waiting for DARPA, you'll be waiting for at least five years for proof of concept. We need an off the shelf, bolt in ready solution. I'll settle for 110 db with high and low notes for harmony and to cover all the variety of hearing defects we might encounter among our tuned in, hearing impaired society. Some of these folks (like your neighbor) need shock collars that read external horn noise.

You might want to take another look at your horns again . If any plastic portion of either horn touches the fenderwell it will deaden the sound. mine did the same and it was the one nearest the radiator.

Horns from the old Cougars/TBirds/LTDIIs from '77-79 were loud as hell. Should be able to snag one from a junkyard.
