Recently got my Foxbody project back from Griggs Racing. Still a ton to do to this car, but a lot has happened so far. Griggs Watts link, coil overs, and rear GRV shocks are in. Awaiting the new torque arm to tie the rear setup together. The new Baer Brakes stop well, but still need more pressure to get them to feel like a modern pedal. Quite possible a hydro boost swap will be added. I could go on for days, but for now here are some pics snapped with my Nikon D750.

4-lug son!

@Dunk812 ‘s SV703 GT500 - 20x11.5 Square - Brushed Triple Black Tinted

There will be blood. @Dunk812 ‘s beautiful Rapid Red GT500 on the Signature Wheel Precision Series SV703. Extremely impressed with the medium concave wheel profile and carbon fiber accents. The color matched GT500 and Shelby inserts from @TexxasGT350 really set things off. 📷 @_cj392.

There are a number of hidden gems in the GT350 community. Marius’ GT350R is definitely one of them. My first time laying eyes on this car was an absolute treat. I know yours will be as well.

Francis G’s SV104 GT350 - 19x11/19x11.5 GT350R spec - Brushed Triple Black Tinted
Francis is one of those very meticulous enthusiasts. Planning and researching every part he installed to ensure everything worked in harmony. It probably took close to a year before we got a set of wheels picked and done in the specs he wanted. Offsets here are built custom to reduce the rear wheel poke of the OEM 350R. This car struck me like white lightning. The end result is a chariot fit for Zeus himself.

Nathan’s GT350R is one of those rare cars we get to build. A maximum fitment setup intended to do what has never been done. Currently holding the title for the most aggressive GT350R fitment we have ever done. Sounds like a 20x12 square is next.

21” wheels, and those brakes are still Hilariously large.
...I love it.
What offsets?

Amazing to see a 3-piece wheel on one of these cars. Looks awesome.
Offsets are kept low key, but it has a 305/30/21 and 325/30/21 tire. The GT500 seems to be responding well to everything I throw at it

Why would you keep the offsets “low key”...

I could measure, but I was hoping to save a step. Either way; those wheels are something to be proud of.

Thanks man. Offsets are everything. Proprietary info that gives you a leg up. Many wheel manufacturers don’t have the car, or don’t drive it to its limit to understand what it needs. Once you put that out there you’ve lost some of your advantage.

Lots of guys trust us because we have the car and know we do the R&D.

sounds like you have your GT500 already?

GT350 / GT350R Deep Concave Multipiece Profiles

I have been working hard to make this a reality for us. Happy to show you that it’s finally happening. The first ever sets of deep concave Multipiece wheels are in production for the Shelby platform now. This should be incredible.

Precision Series SV703 - 2020 GT500 20x12 Square

As we push the boundaries of these cars I am excited to see our first set of 20x12 square Signature Wheel Precision Series SV703 get completed for the GT500. Should have some results on these within the next couple weeks.

Over the course of 3 years I have learned a lot. Spent a lot of time looking outward for direction, until I got comfortable enough to look within. Stopped trying to be better than everyone else, and just better than I was the day before. Listened to what people wanted, and more importantly what they disliked. Tons of fun, a lot of late nights, many phone calls with enthusiasts, a couple mistakes and would not trade any of it. It is the natural progression we all go through.

What I present to you now is what I would call the maximum 21" fitment setup for the 2020 GT500. Showcased below are the Signature Wheel Flagship Series ONE in a 21x11 / 21x11.5, wrapped in a 315/30/21 and 325/30/21 Michelin Pilot 4S. This Flagship design is a multipiece design intended for low offset and wide body cars. Brake caliper size, suspension geometry, and fender position really dictate everything. I opted for this mesh design with a Silver face and Polished stepped lip in homage to some of the classic racing cars. This timeless pattern speaks differently to everyone. Fitment here is aggressive to allow for the most lip possible. Negative camber is dialed in the rear to allow for clearance, and only the slightest touch on hard bumps. The front has some slight rubbing of the front fender liners at full lock due to the 315 front tire. But have no fear, a 295/30/21 or 305/30/21 tire up front would clear just fine. Less aggressive rear offsets would require no camber adjustments, zero rubbing, but result in a smaller wheel lip. Each wheel tips the scales at 33lbs each front and rear. Amazingly this is equal to the overall weight of the OEM GT500 wheels that come in at 32/35 lbs. Performance loss is something we engineer to avoid.

The goal here was to not only build the most aggressive setup, but also learn the limitations of the car. Many wheel concepts from the GT350 carry over, but testing fitments on my own car first on the street/track is the only real way to know. That knowledge is why it is very important who you choose to build your wheels. Experimenting on client cars is my last resort whenever possible, although I greatly appreciate those that want to be the first to try something new. Spending 5-6k of my own money to pilot a setup is invaluable data. I am glad to hear so often that clients appreciate that level of dedication, as these are no small sum of money.

Enjoy the pics from Austin (IG: @summit.ss) and will have more for you soon.

When collecting broken necks, its best to have the proper equipment.

Sean Jordan came to Signature with a goal in mind and a path to execution. Be the first to showcase the deep concave profile while staying with a 19' wheel setup. 19x11 / 19x11.5 Gloss black SV902 were employed to maintain the excellent factory aesthetic without being a direct copy of the R. Sport cup 2 tires paired with the 40 lbs of reduced rotating mass turn the steak knife into a samurai sword.

Slight camber adjustments on the R spec wheel provide better handling and that slight poke we all know and love. Making a clean car even cleaner, and more capable. Enjoy!
