Nice. When I clicked on the link there was a Vortech ad for a 825 hp turbo 5.0. The possibilities are endless with a motor like this.

I would love to see them do the Boss 429. ;)

Chevy has a 427 small block, so ...

I hope Ford doesn't do a 429 for a few years - after finally convincing my wife the LS was the best thing since sliced bread, I'd hate to have to go back right away and have to convince her about a 429.

If that day comes I'll help you with a few arguments. Here, start practicing...

"but it's an investment"..."look how much those used Boss 429s go for...this one is new!"

These are irrelevant to me if they can't REV!

Stroker engine = no thanks.

Amen to that!

In the next year or two I will have something with the new 5.0 in it at it will stay NA for sure. That doesn't mean I won't go through the bottom end and throw some cams at it though. I would love to have a NA V-8 that will spin to 8-8500rpm! The motorcycle guy in me loves revs! My Yamaha R6 spins to 16,700rpm, it's glorious! ;D
