I use the iOttie. Have one in each of my vehicles (two 2s and one 3). Works great on track as well, in the Spec Miata & the Boss. Highly recommend.

Yeah, windshield and dashboard. I have it on the windshield in my Boss & Bronco, on the dashboard in the Miata.

Check out RAM mounts. They have several configurations and you can buy them through Amazon. Harry also recommended them on his page.

I use them on the inside for my iPhone5 and outside for my GoPro Hero3+. They are rock solid.
