Which adapter plate did you use?

Ebay one that Steve posted in another thread. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALUMINUM-BLUE-M20-OIL-FILTER-GAUGE-FILTER-SANDWICH-COOLER-ADAPTER-PLATE-KIT-/231026644126?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AMustang&hash=item35ca42d49e&vxp=mtr

Works great, no leaks! I did find a burr from the machining of the AN threads that had to be removed, but that was simple with a small file.

Nice list Steve. I'm planning to do:

1) Blowfish Racing battery relocation kit
2) 302R ABS Module (you need to add this to your list above ;))
1) Getting closer to ordering
2) Waiting for FR to reprogram the unit....
3) Added engine wiring harness and sensor upgrade. Parts are at Precision Race Services.

my winter mod list is short:
1) pull trans to replace syncros

4th gear syncro is toast. it shifts fine in commuting, but over 5k, it grinds and won't engage. thinking that may hurt lap times, so i need to do it before the season starts.

the silver lining is i have been working on an idea to fix the crappy shifter issues. having the trans out will afford me the access to fiddle with it.

2. Parts sitting
3. Parts sitting

5. Ordered parts to replace the dust seals on my brake calipers.

I've got some time off work next week and the weather is supposed to be nice. So hopefully I can get some of these things marked off my list.

Did you have issues with your Bob's setup? or was it never installed?

Did your #5 leak?

Update, well nothing to really update but as soon as my Hard Brakes ti plates arrive I'll be able to install my Stoptech front brakes. I did recenter my axle yesterday which wouldn't have been a big deal but the shop that originally installed it goofed up the adjuster so I had to completely remove and and reassemble correctly. I'm within 1/32 from side to side so I'm calling that good enough. ;)

1. Install my Watson Racing roll bar and RSD kit. Late February or early March.
2. Install Stoptech ST40 front calipers with 350x35 rotors. Next weekend.
3. Install an oil temp sensor for my Aerotech gauge. After the brakes are installed
4. Change trans and diff fluids. Complete

Removed the stock Oil/Water Cooler today and replaced with a large Oil/Air Setrab with a Thermostat from Improved Racing (per Steve's plan).

Here are the install pics for anyone interested in going this way.....

Parts list:

Ford GT Lower Hose BR3Z-8286-BA
Ford Adaptor Insert AL3Z-6890-A

I sourced these from Improved Racing:
Setrab 34 row 9 series Oil Cooler 50-934-7612 with optional 22mm fittings (2)
High Flow Engine Oil Thermostat (180 degrees) ENV-100 with optional -10 AN fittings (4)
4x RaceFlux AN -10 Straight Swivel Hose End SS-000
4x RaceFlux AN -10 45 degree Swivel Hose End DS-045
4 feet Fireflex (-10 AN) Sleeve

Also:
Glowshift Oil Filter Sandwich Plate 22mm x 1.5 GS-AFS
Canton Oil Filter Sandwich Plate 22-549
15 feet Aeroquip Startlite AN-10 Hose AER-FCU1015

Plus mounting brackets for the cooler (re used the FRPP bracket for the smaller cooler) and thermostat, that I fabricated from 1/8" Aluminum.

Drain the cooling system.

Remove the stock Water/Oil cooler and insert the new Adaptor Insert.

Remove the Lower Hose with the cooling tee off and replace with the new GT lower Hose

Then add the first sandwich plate with Pressure and Temp senders (awaiting an upgrade to the AeroMeter gages). I couldn't get a combined sandwich plate for both sensors and the cooler to package with the stock cooler removed:

I added the temperature sensor to the canton sandwich plate very easily.
I'm not sold on the glow shift plate though. The ID if their 22mm fittings is small compared to the 1/2 -10 fittings.I even smoothed the entire interior of the Canton plate to improve flow. That alone gained nearly 10psi of extra oil pressure.Still there is enough restriction to decrease pressure 5-8 psi.
