Wrench light

Not sure if there is a thread for this yet. But I have a 2019 mustang GT when a “wrench light” just went on this morning. I took it to get scanned no trouble shoot code popped up. The vehicle isn’t in limp mode and I can still drive through the different modes. Anyone have an idea? Thanks

Drive a few more cycles before worrying too much. Some errors will show the wrench light even after the problem “Goes Away”.

Okay, I give it a try. I also had an oil change on the 17th from ford. Could that be a coincidence?

I doubt the oil change is related.

Turned the vehicle on this morning and the wrench light is no longer there. Will pay attention if it comes up again though. Thanks!

Take a quick look at your throttle body by pulling the air inlet tube off - see if there’s any traces of oil. I’ve seen the wrench light come on with no codes if you’re getting oil from the driver’s side crank vent sucked into the CAI. This could be caused by overfilling the oil - which is a possibility when you had the oil changed?

I had the wrench light come on after getting the car dyno'ed. Went away a couple min later. I assume it was from the tech plugging his equipment in
