Wow, looks like the Yellowjacket has some sting to it with a 12.3 quarter mile time -- congrats! There may not be as much info on TMO concerning Drag Racing, but there are many on here who do a bit of both --- road racing and a trip to the strip occasionally. You will find alot of info to get your car set up a bit more for the twisties, but going quickly is often based primarily on tires, brakes ( aggressive pads and DOT 4 fluid ). You already have plenty of other solid mods, so feel free to jump in and ask for advice, TMO members are here to help. You will get varying answers, and often it depends on what the fellow TrackRat spends his/her time doing. There will be some variances between those that race, do Time Trials, autocross, or mainly participate in HPDEs. All venues are similar , but since you mentioned you drive your Stang all the time, most likely comments for tires, etc. will likely focus on that usage for your car. Appreciate the post and welcome.

Not sure where you are in Illinois , but Autobahn CC is a solid track to go to with Great Lakes Region of NASA ( nasaproracing.com ) and another good group to get acquainted with is the Northwoods Shelby Group.
