Yet another clutch question...

I don't really have any clutch issues at all (after I ditched the assist spring), but the release point of the clutch is very annoying as I have to push the clutch all the way to the floor to facilitate a shift. How can I change the release point of the hydraulic clutch so as to only have to push the pedal half way down to fully release the clutch?

Stock clutch? Boss or GT? Have you tried pumping the clutch about 50 times? That’s how you bleed/refresh the fluid in the clutch line.

If that doesn't work, applying vacuum at the reservoir might help. I have a fair amount of travel from the floor in both GT and Boss with the stock clutches.

If there is no air in the system, the only way to make a shorter pedal is a bigger master cylinder. The gt500 master cyl is slightly bigger dia than the stock gt.
