- Background & Plans
- Bought this car brand new, special order when used Mustangs were loaded and not much cheaper. Been a work in progress all the way up to 2019 when it was finally track ready. Would like to prep for NASA TT4 or 5 (which ever has more competitors); for now it'll be HPDE3 events. I plan to install tow hooks and a proper 4 or 6 point cage too (money and time!). I pulled about 300lbs out of the car, and pushed the center of gravity back about 10-12". As most of you know, projects like this are never "done" and just the regular maintenance on customized track cars can be complicated too, but it is a joy and this has been my biggest project to date...have my sons involved too, so there's that! Race safe out there!
