I just want to get thru a Track Day in 2013 without any more Misfire Codes or Limp Mode popping up at 100+ MPH...Oh, and not have to get ANOTHER replacement Engine from Ford Racing...Everything else (Smoother, Faster, More Track Time, Better Tires & Brakes, etc) is just "Gravy" for me...
Having had a set of MM Adjustable Camber/Caster plates installed on my 2007 Shelby GT, I was wondering if going with just the BOLTS would be a whole lot better??? Obviously, they are much cheaper and easier to install... But can you "adjust" them just as easy as the PLATES???Only looking for...
No worries or real hurry for me... Just wondered if I had missed something along the way... Now if you can add a "Fix Misfire" button to each of our profiles, then you'd really have something going... Just sayin' :o

Supposedly, I spun the #3 rod bearing at an Open Track event back in the Summer... However, the Ford Dealer only had to check the metal shavings in the oil filter and scoped the #3 cylinder to verify that the piston was/had been hitting the valves in the head... Complete LONG BLOCK and new...
Re: CEL - "random misfire" (recurring)Hopefully, FRPP will make it a "sticky" and do a little R&D over the Winter months to see what can be done to help rectify the situation...
The -9 sticker is what I got from FRPP when I had my TK software installed at the end of April... However, it wasn't until I went thru the Engine Swap in late July did I start to get the misfire issues as posted in the other "CEL" threads...I did suggest to my Service Advisor that they...
Re: CEL - "random misfire" (recurring)*** 2nd Update ***Not surprisingly, all the Ford Tech Line had my dealer do was the Crank Sensor Relearn Procedure AGAIN... Just like they did 2 months ago, right after I got the 2nd Engine installed... So for now, it appears to have fixed the...
