Spent most of the day in Minden, IA yesterday. A guys from work had 3 family members lose their homes, the one couple was interviewed when I was there yesterday. We have more storms lined up for this afternoon and they haven't been able to get a conex so they have my trailer for now so they...
I live a couple miles south of Bill and filmed the below two videos and yes I am an idiot. In true midwestern style the neighbor and I grabbed a beer and headed to the back yard. We knew this may come our way and we really debated on running, but didn't know which way we would go if we did...
Been seeing a bunch of billionaire's and politicians selling off the last few weeks signaling the market will drop. With it being an election year I don't think it will, but what do I know. Been trying to research and learn more about the markets the last few years, and haven't been able to...
So I have been following some recent news regarding I29 speedway just south of Omaha NE this last month as it has been purchased, but not sure by who yet. The road course along with the drag strip has gone up for sale a couple times over the last decade or so and the road course side has really...
My 2020 GT350 had 1 rear shock that did leak. Not enough to drip to floor, but it was replaced under warranty. I did track it 2-3 times a year. All else has been good and just make sure you check those things between going out and having fun so no incidents happen while on track..
I went out last month to this event, low price for the amount of track time you get. The track is not in the shape it was many years ago but still a good time to burn up some tires and brake pads, and beat up some Porsches and others that are there. They have a huge car show event out there...
Those are minor details, but yes run Apex 19x11 on track, have the MM camber plates, and use the schroth harness when they let me. No valve stem caps, that adds to much rotational weight.
Just a few more days to sign up and get a discount. First time in 10 years I won't be able to attend and should be a great event again. Lots of track time, fast cars, and Ford engineering insight shared...
Attended a Porsche event yesterday at Raceway Park of the Midlands. Been a couple years since I have been here and man has it gotten rough. They haven't put any money or very little into this track and has really gone down hill over the last few years, but it didn't help that it sat under 10'...
This year will be the first time since 2013 I won't be able to attend the event. Always a great time, great comradery, and fast cars at the event. Good luck to all and have fun.
May have been 90 on exit, but it drops to mid 80's. Either way I was chasing it if you can't tell by my "woo" it was a puckered up moment. I feel I'm sawing the steering wheel way more than it looks from that view.
