  1. BMW M2 vs. GT350R

Probably one of the last updates here. I've had my M2 for 2 years now. Great little car, but TOO easy to drive fast. I'm very near my goal of 7:55 Nordschleife lap, and I've been taking my time to get to know the place over the last 2 seasons. I miss the V8, and the visceral nature of a NA V8...
  2. BMW M2 vs. GT350R

What do you mean about the bumper bars? Bumper is all painted
  3. GT350/350R vs Camaro SS 1LE at NCM with Andy Pilgrim

That bit is subjective to be honest. I personally do prefer the looks of the GT350, but could live the chevy look too. I like the interior of the Chevy better. To each his own I suppose.
  4. GT350/350R vs Camaro SS 1LE at NCM with Andy Pilgrim

Good reviews! Love the sound of the Mustangs! I have to admit though that Camaro squeaking out an almost equal time to GT350 for $10k less is impressive.
  5. BMW M2 vs. GT350R

Really? I don't know, the M2 looks pretty damn good in my opinion. I've never been a fan of the S550 styling. The GT350 being the exception. But I think it looks a bit long and I never liked the slanted tail
  6. G-Loc vs Pagid vs Raybestos

I tried out the ST 43s, but abandoned them after 1 day. They felt ok on the track, but when I took them out a week later there were gouges in the friction material. They had 5 or 6 spots with gouges 2 to 3 mm deep and 5 to 8mm wide. I didn’t feel safe using them again after that. Both left and...
  7. G-Loc vs Pagid vs Raybestos

I did the bed-in process myself after swapping pads, but I did not scrub or sand rotors. It would probably help to do this, but at the same time I have not done this on any car and except for GLoc pads had no issues. On my M2 I swap between whatever BMW stock pads are, and the PFCs with no...
  8. G-Loc vs Pagid vs Raybestos

Are PFC pads available fro the Mustang. I used to run G-Loc/Carobotech on the pony and I liked them, though the XP10 caused a vibration on the front with the uneven transfer layer, and XP12 evaporated after 4 days.On my M2 I run PFC08 right now. After 3 days on F1 curcuits in Europe...
  9. BMW M2 vs. GT350R

Hey Rick, no I have not had a chance yet. But so far my plan is to sell the M2 here before I leave and get either a 2021 GT350 or a 2019 C7 Grand Sport when I come back stateside. The whole Turbocharged Inline 6 experience has really showed me that I need a V8 in my life. This is what I miss the...
  10. BMW M2 vs. GT350R

I’m currently in Germany on a 3 year work assignment. I sold my Mustang back home and got a 2017 BMW M2. I use it as my daily and I’ve also hit Some pretty sweet circuits in it this year. Spa Francorchamps, Hockenheimring and of course Nürburgring Nordschleife. The balance, nimbleness and...
  11. Lap Time Thread

Nice work! I was there the same day in Group 2! What size slicks do you run? I'm running Ventus R-S3 tires in 275/35.
  12. Lap Time Thread

Thank you sir! Yes I am, when just 2 won't do! :DI live in the suburbs of Detroit, so Grattan and Gingerman are my home tracks. Mid Ohio is close by as well. I try to make it to each as least once per year.
  13. Lap Time Thread

Hey guys, I'm fairly new here. Been tracking my '14 GT since 2013, and mostly posting on TMS. I see a wealth of activity here, which is awesome.Anyway, in May I ran Grattan and got 1:31.1 Here is some video. Also earlier this week ran Mid Ohio (with the kink) and posted 1:43.71 Using Hankook...
