This still doesn’t make sense to me. Yes, a built one is better. But what are the chances of the stock engine failing again? Probably low. Statistically speaking, it’s unlikely. For what the built engine costs, you could replace it with a stock factory engine twice..Sent from my iPhone using...
Yep. Agreed. My ‘14GT has a crap tranny. Now my ‘18GT is doing fine so far, but 30% of the 18’s engines are bad. If not more. It’s a joke. I’ll be going corvette or 911 in the next year.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Selling my PP2 wheels and tires. Less than 75 miles on them, no track days or burnouts. They are being stored in my climate controlled garage at 50* so the cup 2’s are perfect.
Working on my masters and possibly moving to NYC in the next 3 weeks so these have to go.$2,000 firm, located in...
Ive been told having my own code reader can actually cancel/do away with the code. The car is 100% stock and under warranty, I don't think I should touch the car... Leave it to Ford.
UPDATE***Took the car to the dealership today. They claimed the check engine light I got was the rear diff oil temp sensor. They said the sensor was bad, but the oil was fine. They drained it, put in a new sensor, and put new rear diff oil in. Why am I doubting that the check engine light...
All,I took my 2018 GT PP1 to VIR today for its first track day. First off, it's an unbelievable car. It is light years ahead of my '14 GT and it will take me many years to be as good as this car is.With that being said, the day didn't go perfectly.-Session 1: Had the check engine light...
Thanks! Yes, I’m planning on changing the pads after my first day on the track. To be honest, I won’t be pushing the car extremely hard as I only have two HPDE’s under my belt. My main motivation to switch is how bad the brake dust is with the stock pads[emoji40]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
All,So far I’m absolutely loving this car. It’s decades ahead of my ‘14 GT. I’m already signed up for two HPDE’s in July and September. I currently plan on tracking this car 5-7 times a year so nothing crazy. I’m going to keep the engine stock as I really don’t want to void the warranty just...
Below is a video I came across the day before I picked mine up lol. I believe it's just the 2018's twin disk clutch. Apparently the gen 3 coyote is making more than the clutch can handle? Supposedly Ford is manufacturing new clutches and shifters and will be in around June...
