I need to find a solution to fill this hole in. Any suggestions? One solution would be to use the side grille that it came with (https://tripleseven-na.com/collections/replacement-parts/products/mach1-side-grille-replacement?variant=41814993961099) and just somehow cover up the vent and turn...
I did not, as it would not be allowed within the racing categories I’m competing in. However there are some kind of cutouts there so maybe they can be added on later.
Update, new 777 bumper is on and it didn't last very long. I'm not over the moon with the quality of it, but I've got a second one already ready to put on to give it another shot. I'm supporting it with a chassis-mounted carbon splitter this time which should help the bumper to be mounted a bit...
Also, I still don't understand why there's like 20 aftermarket options of radiator supports for S197 and none for S550. Have companies stopped developing new products for Mustangs? Is it still too early (9 years since S550 debut maybe not enough)? If I have to buy a new factory radiator support...
I have plastic welded it for the moment, we'll see if it holds. Regardless, it doesn't make any sense - the radiator support bracket is metal - but this particular tab is plastic - and yet they are the same part? If they just made it a separate plastic piece that screws or clips onto the metal...
Driver side - the top of the sway bar end link is connected to front shock towards the rear of the vehicle. I am able to wiggle the end link by hand.Passenger side. The sway bar end link is bolted in towards the front of the vehicle, instead of the other hole like the driver side is. It is...
Looks like I might have to replace the entire piece unless I want to try and plastic weld it back on (which I don't because it'll just break again).https://www.carparts.com/details/Ford/Mustang/ReplaceXL/Radiator_Support/2018/EcoBoost/4_Cyl_2-dot-3L/R-RF25020002.htmlWhat are the aftermarket...
Thanks Ford for making plastic tabs off the chassis that are 1mm thick so they break if a stiff breeze comes along. How am I supposed to fix this. (Passenger side pic for reference of how it’s supposed to be)
I installed the Steeda ultralite linear springs and it seems like the ride quality is pretty harsh. It just seems very stiff - like if I brake hard, the front end doesn't even compress at all. But it was also pretty bad before I installed those so I wonder if it's something else such as the...
Does anyone know if there is an off-the-shelf tune (Ford Performance, COBB, Steeda, etc.) that completely removes any computer-added rev hang? Or would I only be able to achieve that with a custom tune? Thanks in advance!
