You are correct, they are discarted before leaving the plant. They even have a build sheet for the engine. if you notice they all have the rotation# listed on them as well. These sheets are hard to come by. I was at the plant when my car was built and was able to receive my sheets as well.

Doesnt surprise me, they are offering the track key for the later 2014s so there not on the dealer lots when the 2015 arrives. Give it time, ford will probably offer the key to to all 5.0 GTs from 2011 and up. We still have a BOSS and no one can take that away.

I also use non ethonal pure gas in all my mustangs for winter storage and most of the time for the summer as well. I do not use a stabilizer for winter storage, only time I would use a stabilizer is for long term storage, but thats my opinion.
The covering I am refuring to is located between the oil filter cover and the front splitter. It looks like there are 10 5/16 bolts to remove this cover, can I remove this cover without removing the front splitter?
