I was there yesterday as well. In the blue group...I really should check in on the forum more often...Had a great morning. Well worth the 14 hr round-trip drive!
I had decent luck with Phil Long in Motor City. It was only an oil change though.Bob Penkhus is on my shiznit list currently. They torqued the wheel studs on my wife's VW so tight that l couldn't budge them. Took it in and they only addressed the wheel I rounded the stud off on.
I chose to put mine away, even though I am in Colorado. I have a 98 Chevy Z71 as a daily driver...while the road may be clear, I hear there is a lot of grit / sand that hangs around until the Spring.I did use the factory car cover, it's in an insulated (not heated) garage, full tank of fuel...
I finally changed the pads out last weekend. Prepped the rotors and burnished them by their instructions...those sonovaguns got pretty hot...lol.Overall I am very happy with them 8)
Did a search and couldn't find a recommendation.I drive my Boss a few times a week, don't expect to track it.Are there replacement pads available for the Brembos that won't turn the front wheels black when I stop at the end of my driveway?
