Thoughts on how my Pagid 29’s are wearing

This was my though as well. They have got HOT. I am also running RSL29's on a stock engine 17GT. The difference being i opted to upgrade the brakes to GT350 calipers and rotors. I was told by my local guys that it was required for the car to survive a 20 minute sprint session. Mine definitely...

    Thoughts on KW V1 coilovers

As long as you don't dial on too much camber at the strut leg you probably wont hit. Not sure how wide the S650 guards are but they may poke a bit. Unfortunately you are just going to have to try it and adjust as required. That why i looked at your build. Going to extreme on wheel sizes means...

    Thoughts on KW V1 coilovers

I'm currently running ST XTA+3's which are made by KW. I actually went with them over the KW because they came with a billet camber plate as part of the kit. Mine was also to be a fast road fun track car. I should have known myself better. The issues you may also find with the V1's is they are...

    Track Number Sticker Idea

Definitely tie it in to the louvers. "assuming I can install the vent perfectly straight." measure 3 times, ask for second opinion, sleep on it and still go "SH#T" before the first cut. Bonnet vents kinda went like that when i did them.Time to get some side shots and do a windows paint...

    Track Number Sticker Idea

Personal opinion, just run it to the door edge. The tapered trailing edge gives it some character. You would run into the 5.0 badge on the stock guard. Without the 350 vent the straight leading edge has nothing to line up with and if you curved it to match the wheel arch the trailing edge would...

Tire Purging Tool finally back in stock

And for the uneducated amongst us? Assuming by the looks its a clip on bleeder that allows you to drop the tyre down to atmospheric pressure without pulling the valve insert. Assume you then attach compressor hose and refill via the fitting on the end. Never really thought about changing out...

    S550 @carbon.cinematic S550 Ecoboost Time Attack

Go the 4 Cylinder action. My favourite toy is a 2.5ltr 4 cyl also. Missing the hairdryer though. Love the smoke show.

S550 Is this correct? (Front Sway bar)

Agree, they are made symmetrical but should use the one that aligns most vertically with the sway bar hole. Which on a stock strut with stock bar appears to be the rearward one. That one you thought was wrong has an atrocious angle on the end joint. Surprised it has bound up yet and bent the link.

Tornado hits Willy Da P's house , but there is even worse news............

From the other side of the globe, glad to hear you are relatively unscathed. When you guys say everything is bigger in the US, you mean it. Been through cyclones down here and they don't come close to those tornado's you have up there. Hope the rebuild doesn't get drawn out by the dreaded...

Splined Strut Camber Bolts - Why are they splined

Thanks for the offer. They look awesome. I have just finished removing the splines on my bolts and installed Nord-Lock washers. https://www.nord-lock.com/en-au/nord-lock/products/washers/product-guides/ They do one that's the perfect size. I now don't need to beat the crap out of the bolts and...

Pics of your GT350 or S550 Mustang at the track!

You got it in one, can't believe i didn't say which track it was. Probably shouldn't have posted while flat out at work.

Pics of your GT350 or S550 Mustang at the track!

Phillip Island Racetrack - Victoria AustraliaNot my greatest laps due to left front wheel deciding to change camber early in the session. Still setting the suspension up so it is definitely a work in progress. Anyway you guys get to see a track from the other side of the globe situated on an...

Splined Strut Camber Bolts - Why are they splined

I take full responsibility for this one coming loose. Didn't want to remove the caliper to loosen and adjust the hub for wheel clearance to the new springs. Went from metric to imperial and the couple of mm clearance i had disappeared. I thought i hadn't budged the nut but obviously managed to...

Splined Strut Camber Bolts - Why are they splined

Kind of what i thought, set and forget on a road car. Never to be looked at for a few hundred thousand miles. Also thought it may be an assembly process bonus. Not necessarily best practice but best outcome for a manufacturer. Have it in my industry where engineering goes out the window and...
