I have a perfect Boss 302, Competition Orange for sale. I love the car, but just had surgery removing part of my left foot, so running a clutch is no longer an option for me. The Boss has all options; Recaro seats, Torsen locking differential, Boss car cover and floor mats. It has only 2136...
Another advantage of Ft. Campbell is that they have a Popeye's Chicken right there in the PX!
Plus, it is only about 20 miles from Gunblast.com World Headquarters. Lots of good hunting and fishing South of Campbell in Stewart County.
Hooters is in Clarksville about 8 miles away (I like chicken)...
I hear that "drone" as sweet music! One of the main reasons that I bought my Boss was the sound. Restrictor plates have been out since the day I brought it home. I only use the Track key, and never use that silver valet key.
Re: Interesting Camaro5 Forum Discussion between the Boss and LE1.My 2012 Boss is only the second car I have ever owned. I have owned lots of pickup trucks, and nine Harleys, but my 1973 Q-code Mach 1 was my only car, up until the 2012 Boss 302. I thought that I wanted a 2011 SS Camaro, until...
I did not do the second day. For those who want to learn more and intend to race, it is probably a good idea, but for me, this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I just wanted to say I did it.jeff
Gentlemen,
I considered not going, but am so glad that I did. I am 53 years old now. I have never raced on a track, and most likely never will, but the experience was well-worth the cost of getting there and the hotel, and then some. I learned that both the car and I am more capable than I had...
I have the factory shifter on my own Boss. I missed one shift at Miller, hitting 5th instead of 3rd, but it was entirely my fault.
The flash drive is a nice touch, and the flash drive looks like and is numbered to the car that I drove on track.
Our class had seven Boss owners, plus two sons of...
Got back today, drove on track yesterday. What a blast!
Stayed at the airport Hyatt Place. very nice.
Somewhere between Nashville airport security and SLC, I lost my driver's license, so no one would rent me a car.
Ashley at Miller Motorsports was super nice, and she came to the hotel and...
Greatly exceeded my expectations! Superb instructors, great food, friendly and helpful staff, and the museum is awesome!
I highly recommend it to everyone. Also, the weather was perfect! With the great instructor riding along (Michael Self), I pushed the car much harder and faster than I would...
Thanks Gentlemen!I arrive on the 8th, and fly home on the 10th. I had to make it a quick trip, as I was in SC and FL all last week shooting new guns, and have to go to AZ for more shooting in a week or so.Jeff
I suppose that I will need to rent a car for getting from the airport to the hotel, and to the track.. I am flying out there on Oct. 8th, and driving on the 9th.Any recommendations on renting a car?Jeff
