  1. Where are you all getting your Tiger racing hoods?

Hey Folks, Looking to buy a Tiger hood (I'm letting a ton of air through my grill now, but its time to let some of it out!). What retailer(s) did you buy it from? It looks like Rehagen and Chicane23 are the only retailers (and maybe you can call Tiger?). Looking for the best way to have it...
  2. Brake Pads -- RP2 vs XP12 or....

I have a lot of pad desposits with Carbotech pads (I tried the XP 16's, RP2s, and now the most aggressive pad xp20? 24?). Too early to tell on the latest (most aggressive) pad. I blew right through the XP16s with one event at Summit POint before I had brake ducts...they were gone so quick. I...
  3. Clank sound from underneath

Nah I put an exedy clutch rated to 750+ HP in (and I have no intentions of super charging so that should be fine). I didn't have the moolah to go for McLeod or what have you. Put in the clutch, new lightweight flywheel, and slave cylinder. No pics of the exploded clutch spring assembly, they...
  4. Pulsation while braking... recommendations on a fix or on a source for rotors?

I don't think so..that's a minor stress/heat fracture and you'll get many more as time goes on.This is the best two videos I've found on the subject: http://www.essexparts.com/learning-center/cat/brake-rotors/post/Bed-inI have severe shudder as time goes on at almost every event...it's...
  5. Clank sound from underneath

Ford dealer didn't help me out when my clutch springs blew up...they told me the exact same line of crap. I even escalated to Ford customer service and they said the same thing. Granted...my clutch blew up at Watkins glen...and my racing seats...track tires, harnesses were all in so I couldn't...
  6. CAMBER BOLT QUESTIONS

Don't write off -2 degrees off yet as not being enough. It depends on the tire you run and the suspension, and how hard you run. I had -2.2 degrees on front/left at Watkins Glen two sessions ago and the front right inside got eaten up like mad (like it was too much camber). The 2nd time at...
  7. Oil Sandwich Plate Adapters + Aftermark Coolers

Now that I think about the logistics of it all...probably not likely for one of these to be a a sandwich plate/sensor/thermostat switch all in one because you've got the wall between the two sides of the plate going right down the middle where it lets the oil through after its brought up to...
  8. Oil Sandwich Plate Adapters + Aftermark Coolers

Sean do you have a link to the Mocal one you speak of? I quickly Googled and didn't see anything obvious, looked like they all were the usual plate w/ cooler ports but not additional sensor ports too.I guess worst case scenario you could do a remote oil plate and move it elsewhere for...
  9. Oil Temp Sensor Location

Wait a minute, Steve - did you go with NEQ to WG?
  10. Oil Sandwich Plate Adapters + Aftermark Coolers

All, I run a modded GT at HPDEs and I've floated around on a few different oil cooling threads to get the idea of how it all works together. Maybe I just suck at using Google, but I can't even get a straight answer if the GTs have an oil temp sensor (I thought for sure yes, but maybe not?)...
  11. Axle Overflow Reservoir Installed

Installed JLT, cursed at it for 40 min while I tried to weasel it into position. Then read earlier post about jacking car by the body vs. the axle so the diff ends up hanging down lower....popped in right after that without trouble. My hose is sort of resting on top of my diff...I'm hoping...
  12. Camber Adjustment: Tell me if I'm crazy

FYI I have already lowered the car with Eibach springs and shocks. @Grant no you can't with one side jacked up, hence why I do both sides with a level in the center to know I've got both sides perfectly level.@SBY - I believe those Eibach camber bolts advertise up to -2 camber no? Well, I...
  13. Camber Adjustment: Tell me if I'm crazy

Yeah I was wondering that too. I drive maybe 30mi a day total, how much would a lousy 1 degree or so actually wear my tires especially if I'm rotating them all the time between events. Maybe I should just make it 1 to 1.5 degrees and leave it.
  14. Camber Adjustment: Tell me if I'm crazy

Don't bother telling me to get MM camber/caster plates because it will be awhile till then.My car is a DD as well as HPDE Mustang and I take race seats, wheels, and pads in/out for every event (it's a lot of work but I'm getting quicker at it). I want to use my Eibach camber bolts to give me a...
  15. switching off seat belt alarm

Can anyone confirm/deny that this has to be done with stock seat/sensors? I have already removed the stock seat but kept the stock seatbelt stalk for now. Problem is my airbag light is always on (I don't care) so I kinda get lost at Step 4 since my airbag light is eternally on :) If I have to...
