  2. GT350 Heads on 302?

I'll list a link to the article....but here's what I found:"Most basically, the Boss head is cast from AS7GU aluminum--what we hot rodders know as 356 aluminum, with a little bit of added copper for increased heat transfer, while retaining the high strength properties of 319 aluminum. It's the...
  3. Trackey Discontinued

I had Shaun, Main Tuner at AED, Tune my Boss with a remote tune. I have a base tune, a road race tune and have the base tune for a conversion to E 85. Shaun can give you most all the added features of Track Key.....except the lean portions of the tune. The Ford Racing Track Key Tune has areas...
  4. Observation

Might turn out to be true....but isn't it great to be living in a time where there are so many fun cars to choose from :) :)? Maybe ones with different personalities. And this healthy competition between the Big Three only benefits the enthusiasts such as ourselves...in terms of new and better...
  5. Time to move on...

Well.....just got it broke in last week so we can start exploring now. Did some control arms in the back....no more wheel hop on launch. Going to try my hand at 1/4 mile stuff at the track this afternoon.....but with factory tires. So far....this vehicle has been a beast. The only other car...
  6. Time to move on...

I hear you! It's a bit of a stretch for us.....the CFO wasn't happy at first but after she had a weekend driving both...she understands they have two completely different missions in life. A Viper would be an Amazing car to own.....but I'd have the same problems with ingress and egress as I do...
  7. Time to move on...

Best of luck.....I think you'll enjoy that Viper! Awesome color BTW. I did something similar....but will keep my Boss and add to the stable with a new 2016 Kitty :). Just can't imagine parting with my Boss....just a really special little car....it's being surpassed yearly by many other...
  8. GT350 driven by the Stig, UK

Yes...Wow indeed. A handful with cold "R" compound tires.....probably cool ambient conditions and no previous experience driving the car. He lived up to the "Stig's" driving reputation for sure.
  9. Ebay GT350R

Thanks...Guess I missed part of the ad. Just wanted to know if this was legit....although maybe they haven't been assigned a VIN for their allocation. But you never know what goes on...on eBay sometimes.Wayne
  10. Ebay GT350R

Try and look the VIN up.....it comes up as a 2015 GT. Is this normal practice? To just throw out a random VIN?http://fordlabels.webview.biz/webviewhybrid/WindowSticker.aspx?vin=1FA6P8CF6F5424997
  11. cj intake

I can only speak to what I've seen posted regarding the CJ intake and it seems that it will add in the 30's as far as increased horsepower. The cost...here is an example of the intake, TB and cai: http://pbhperformance.com/shop/cobra-jet-intake-power-pack/ Now, the $1499 is just for the...
  12. cj intake

I have the Accufab 84.5mm throttle body and the carbon fiber Airaid intake. The bigger throttle body probably adds very little in terms of added horsepower....it would help if I ever decide to go with forced induction like a turbo or centri blower. Looking back...I probably would have used...
  13. Dead Battery FYI

Mmmmm.... I'm pretty certain it was battery acid leaking. I put a paste consisting of baking soda and water on the posts...there was a significant reaction that included bubbles. There was also areas being corroded on the metal tie downs.....ate through the paint or powder coating then into...
  14. Steeda UCA and Driveline Clunking Noise Solved

I think he's saying to tighten the axle side to the adjuster and the body side up to the poly bushing end. This is what I ended up doing.....and I have greatly reduced the amount of noise....versus the Hotchkis with Heim joint and factory bracket. This is a nice upgrade with a nice price...
  15. Steeda UCA and Driveline Clunking Noise Solved

Pinion angle will vary depending on if you have the oem two piece driveshaft or a one piece. Might want to check out the angle on your LCA's first.....perhaps adding relocation brackets on them and moving on.This is taken from the installation instructions on the Steeda website:"10. Use an...
