Odd that just sun cleared it up. I was going to suggest denatured alcohol. Next up is just plain spit which is acidic. Removes unknown brown spots and bird spots on my car so the time. Isopropyl is overrated for cleaning. Isopropyl won't remove pine sap, denatured will easily. Far better than...
I wear Converse All-Stars. Comfortable and flexible enough to be able to feel the pedal. I suspect a lot of wider shoes stiff enough to be able to span the pedals without deforming are going to lose some feel to them. Enough that you may not be able to really feel if you are on each pedal or...
Crap...I bought the wrong one. Just using it for Lemon's right now but was thinking I could use it in the Boss also. I don't thing it would be less safe to use it anyways, right? Not sure that I will ever install my roll bar and a 4 point since the kids enjoy rides in the Boss.
Were you pumping the pedal or using a power bleeder? A solenoid in the ABS unit could be stuck but I would expect it to be stuck open not closed. I would like to know which tool you end up buying that can manually actuate the valves. That would be great for flushing out all the old fluid and...
No expert, just thinking out loud. If the fan is not coming on and you got the impression that it was no hotter than normal when you had the hood open then maybe it is not actually overheating and like mentioned it might be a faulty CHT. The fan might only be triggered by the coolant temp...
So FF has recently come out with a new 3rd gen design of their Daytona Coupe. The only car sexier, in my opinion, is the GT40. Anyone here have experience with one of these on the street and/or track? How do they compare? I would plan on splitting my commute between this and the FiST. I had...
Same here. 2x10's made into 3-steps each with deck screws to hold em together. Plenty of height for oil changes and other light work. I like having the easily noticeable steps instead of a ramp and short flat before you are in deep trouble.
I think if he does it and puts out a video we will see an uptick in Nurburgring crash videos on Youtube of guys trying to re-create it. He should do it in a Transit next:)
Glad I got a FiST last year, maybe the resale will be pretty good now? Ford was not losing money on the sedans, though, correct? I see lots of Foci and Fusions every day in my area (MA), at least as many as F-150's (combined). It makes sense that the Fiesta and Taurus are out. But the people...
^^ I also feel it is situational. I race an 87 Prelude in Lemons, class B, and we have used wider tires and it definitely hurt the corner exit acceleration in my opinion. I think the owner was trying 235's last year. We had to add ghetto scrap metal fender flares to what little fender was...
Easy to find, it's the brightest spot in the NE corner of CT lol. If you use the default "Hot" setting you can see the groundskeepers are being tracked while mowing lol.
Are the lockouts at high rpm or high loads at moderate rpm (or both...)? The Whiteline transmission insert, mgw(gen1), and Steeda engine mounts fixed all my shifting issues. I never had high rpm lockout, I usually shy away from redline and Thompson and NHIS are small courses. In my opinion...
Maybe once they have the mid-engine platform in a moderately priced Corvette then they would come out with a crazy expensive supped up version to compete with the GT? If they did that then they could probably get to the performance of the GT for less money since it would have higher volume due...
