What did you do to your Boss 302 or S197 today?

I’ve got track night at America at Sebring on Thursday.
I’ll be shifting a little earlier to keep the clutch/gearbox happy. Then I’ll look at getting a clutch installed.
Don’t fancy doing it on jack stand in my garage

What rpm do you usually shift at?

Around 6500 gen 1 coyote with CAI, headers and a dyno tune

If you are having trouble at 6500 you need a clutch. I didn't have problems wit my gen 1 until we raised the rev limiter to 7300.

Ok thanks. I think I’ll postpone Sebring and get the clutch done 1st. Don’t want to add any additional damage to my mt82

New wider Falken RT-660's all around. Now I have to check fender clearances. was running 295/40-18's, went up to the 315/30-18's. Now let's see what adjustments are needed.

Also, one sarcastic comment. Had to buy a new battery! Returned from winter trip and the battery was stone dead. Zero volts. Cheap a** battery from Ford, only lasted 12+ years. Yes, can you believe the original battery left me stranded in my nice cozy heated garage! I forgot to leave the battery maintainer on it when I disappeared for three months. Lets see if the AGM battery I bought is any better.

well.... today our club celebrated the 60th Birthday of Mustang.... scavenger hunt cruise... had a blast... first time on the road this spring.. felt great to be back behind the wheel again...

Had an exedy hyper single clutch, new slave cylinder, pilot bearing and ford performance one piece driveshaft installed by a local shop.

Hopefully that will fix the high rpm lock out.

Joking apart really pleased I was able to take my car to Kohr. It’s great that they are so close and able to fit me into their busy schedule

I didn't realize they have a Florida shop - good to know. Nice upgrades, and with the MGW you will be quite pleased.

Yes, they moved down to Daytona a couple of years ago.
Clutch, MGW & braided clutch line all done so fingers crossed
