Just an observation.........in "Today's Birthdays"..........Lee Majors is 85......WOW!!!!!!!!!!!......Seems like just yesterday He was "The Six Million Dollar Man"....Steve Austin...
my 2014 carbon hood did a moon mission when I forgot to latch it other day, went about 20 ft in the air. Surprised there isn't more damage, I've patched her up and it will live another day - Fiberglass version wouldn't have had the same fate.

Thanks blacksheep, yeah I really got into the weeds on this haThe main thing I am trying to avoid is the over extension of the ToB and having to replace it sooner than expected, I suspect that the design intent was to create less clutch pedal...

Watched a few videos of YouTube online … to replace one rod/piston assembly, is it essentially the entire engine being torn apart? I know everything from the heads and up come off but does the crank also?
I’m just thinking with the labor cost, I...
14 lbs. vs 22 lbs for a 2014 hood. I think the carbon might be a little stronger though, and even at that mine flexes a bit. Haven't road tested yet to see how well it holds shape, but others here may have experience and more info.
