- Background & Plans
- Background: 3 old guys decided they wanted to "be young" again, so they decided to build a car for endurance racing. Searched and came across this beauty of the Mustang for a reasonable price. Came with cage and almost race-ready. Turns out, cage was NOT ready...at all...so had to be 100% cut-out. Professional cage installed (the crown jewel of the build, let's be honest), and the rest of the build is "as we go". Future plans are to install "My First Aero package" (rear wing + front diffuser + dive planes), better suspension, brake cooling, better tires (currently running RS4's, going to try RT615K+'s next), instrumentation upgrades, more wiring diet, and much, much more seat time.
