Do you have any pictures of what you assembly looked like, after the springs blew up?Would anyone like to share pictures of clutch assembles that Ford has or hasn't covered under warranty?
Finally made it in to the dealer. Ford dealer decided to put the car on the rack to pinpoint this clank sound better. From the tech "there is noticeably more slop than a new mustang and the spring sound is not normal". They have contacted the Ford tech hotline. Ford responded with the fact...
I brought this up to my service guy last year (wasn't as prevelant then) and he, off the cuff, said "rear end slop, normal".Anyone have any initial thoughts?
Here is a short video of the sounds that I hear. After listening to the video it sounds like the springs in the clutch along with a clank or clunk just before you hear what sounds like a spring compressing. The video was taken just behind the belhousing, passenger side. BTW the car is in 1st...
I thought that at first to but the sound if far forward of the rear end. I can hear the noise coming from the rear of the engine/front of the transmission. Seems totally different than rearend clunk too...more of a tinny sound. more clank than a clunk

I am jealous Rick! I rarely run into 93 (laced w/ ethanol) and even then my boss knocks like crazy upon throttle tip in. But I still putt around town to listen to the idle at stop lights :)
Pulled on the drivers side door, cable broke at the handle. The feel of the clutch isn't consistent through the gears .... no clue how to even begin to describe this to the dealer, properly. Overall very happy thoughI also have a flaw that will likely not be fixed. The shock tower, facing...
Old guys? Haha, my wife painted this on the garage door for my 64 falcon sprint to sit in front of. I'm 32. I guess being a fan of classical items helps bridge generations. Hmmm, reminds me of why i bought my Boss! I wasn't part of them but man I bet those were some fun days! ;D
I ran across a 2012 Boss RR with both options and the cover at union auto inc, in union, IA. Contact Nathan Bernard (641) 486-2358. He tells me "We'd accept $1000 off of MSRP and would do the trackey install at cost"!Just wanted to pass it on. Enjoy!
