  2. ABS

On the 05-09 does the ABS require the brake switch? If so which one (upper ot lower). I to have completely removed interior and alot of wiring. Car setup for SCCA CP class. Thanks, good to know I'm close.
  4. S197 3V 315 Hoosiers on a S197

I have arp long studs on all 4s. Plan is to add a 1/8 spacer to the current 1/4 thus 3/8th total and see what happens. I'll just have to watch fender clearance. I like the rear-end alignment post and plan to do that this winter. Will also check superheated. Thanks
  5. S197 3V 315 Hoosiers on a S197

Using a 1/4 inch spacer as is, had to use it to run the 315 rt660s.

Thanks for the input, rear camber on the list, just not in the bank yet. I'll play with pressure test this weekend. At current pressures I'm thinking too much rollover. What's the thoughts on running no rear bar. Thanks
  7. S197 3V 315 Hoosiers on a S197

Searched various threads and can't find an answer. Running a S197 3V in SCCA CP class. Moved to cp class this year. Complete interior removed, car weights 3144 (no driver). 18x11s with 315 A7s. -3.3 camber with slight toe out. Corner balance with about 30 pound difference on any given tire...
  8. S197 Help ! coil over \ wheel issue

I run a 1/4inch spacer in the back with no problems. My ride height is not too low, about 3 to 4 fingers between the tire and finder.
  9. S197 3V Suggest an upgrade path for autocross

I've been running a 3v s197 for about 7 years (5 in cam) and the biggest bang for the buck was wheels and tires. 18x11 wheels and 315 tires. As far as shocks/struts, I use st/xta, they are a low cost (as compared to others) system which provides some adjustability and have worked for me. Be...
  10. S197 3V Brake Pedal Travel

Thinner on the od of the rotor. Found that both calipers are experiencing the same issue as far as pads thinner on the rotor od. Last two events are the first time i have run sticky tires (200tw) and r16 pads. Past was 340tw and r10s. Makes sense that calipers are spreading. Thanks for the...
  11. S197 3V Brake Pedal Travel

Sounds good, got a plan moving forward. Thanks for all the input.
  12. S197 3V Brake Pedal Travel

Rear good with stock/OEM components with appropriate pads to support the front?
  13. S197 3V Brake Pedal Travel

I'm totally onboard with the upgrade. Right thing to do. Will/would this require any changes with the master cylinder or brake booster.
