Makes sense. My wheels are only a year old.Thought about having the hubs turned down but concerned that would defeat purpose of larger hubs with larger bearings. I also bought slotted rotors and they seem to be helping. Ran cool when I adjusted proportioning valve yesterday. Wish foxbody...

Looks like it should work.I'm thinking of adding a deflector on the k member and having the air hose channel air into it and onto the rotor. Newer mustangs use this method. Doing a track night at Pocono in April and going to check brake temps with just the hose for now. Couple of long...

Similar to yours. Didn't want to hunt down (or pay price for) 94-95 spindles, expense of changing rear axles, rear brakes (again), wheels and etc. My research indicated that 4 lug is good for up to 300hp and my intent is to stay within that range. I use car mostly for hpde and am going to wait...

Got my 4 lug front kit today. I'm very impressed by quality of parts, packaging, ordering process and instructions. Looking forward to starting install after holidays. I also ordered hubs with larger bearings.

Hi, Wondering if you got the brake package yet? If you did what do you think of the quality?I am planning on ordering fronts with slotted rotors next week. Also getting a spare set of rotors. He is deleting pads as I'm going order hp plus from hawk as they seem to work for me at my current...

Hi,Nice car! I have been looking at that kit also for the fronts. Like you said I would prefer to not spend all the time and effort to make all the changes required for 5 lug: 94-9 SN 95 spindles, rear axles, wheels change and the effort and $$$ to make everything work.I have only had my car...

Continental Tire Extreme Contact Force Impressions and Feedback

Hi,I ran HPDE at a 1.4 mile course called Pineview Run this last weekend in upstate NY. Very technical course with a variation of corner types and only 1 longish straight. I ran the tires at 35psi hot and they were much better than at NL without any rollover or chunking. I monitored tire...

Those pressures look they are going in the right direction. My car is smaller, lighter and slower so It seems like a little less pressure would work for me. I am running a tiny tire compared to you guys. 245x40.17 on 8" rim. A little pinched but seems to work at my skill level. I also had a...

    FoxBody Fox Body Brake Cooling

Hi Dave,Thanks for the reply and the advise. I am using dot 4, bleed after each event and flush in the off season. I added some ducting using the lower cover end like you suggested. Wasn't able to get it all the way to the rotor so have it pointing in that direction for now. I am doing a HPDE...

HI MH,Thanks for the reply and advice. Yes i only drive on the street when I want to check out an upgrade or repair I have made. It has crossed the line from DD to track car, which I mainly trailer to HPDE. I am going to try and finish out the year with what I have and am going to plan on an...

I have 91 fox and similar issue at Nelson Ledges, clockwise as well. Ran 31 hot as recommended by track day tire rep. Have -3 degree camber. Only had issue on left front. Going to try 35 hot next event. I'm also interested in hearing recommendations.

HI All,I have a 91 LX Coupe that I am using for HPDE and TT. As I am progressing up the intermediate ranks I am needing to have to add cooling to my front brakes. I am using factory front discs with Hawk HP+ pads. I have MM Koni yellow coilover kit, MM caster camber plates and a stock K member...
