my 2014 carbon hood did a moon mission when I forgot to latch it other day, went about 20 ft in the air. Surprised there isn't more damage, I've patched her up and it will live another day - Fiberglass version wouldn't have had the same fate.
Rebuilding the MT82 you'll end up down the same road over and over again and end up spending more than the Magnum XL swap over long term. I'm sure of this.
I'm a big fan of weight reduction. Removing a lot of the weight, especially the carpet & insulation provides a lot more driver feedback on what the chassis is doing. The more feel and feedback a driver has, the more confidence they'll have. People often bolt on "stiffening braces" aka ballast...
I just completed my swap over to Magnum XL - its a stock Magnum XL from Tremec with the close ratio. I got the Exedy Hyper single and my car is on 3.55s & run mostly 315/30/18.Initial impressions are.... HOLY, why didn't I swap this in like... almost a decade ago? After all the years of...
If you aren't competing then is all the fancy stuff really worth it? You can really go down the rabbit hole with fancy front plates /w sprayers, dog gears, face plating, etc... My thought process is to just run it as it, it'll be much better than MT82 ever will be. See how it does, and if you...
My oem MT82 lasted a bit over 100k km / 60k+ miles which to me was pretty impressive. I blew up 3rd gear at the beginning of last season and since been running the Ben Calimer Stage 1 as it was the quickest solution to get back on track......Well that is until it began to give me trouble with...
Yes I think the calibration is all on the EPAS and can't be tuned. I'm not sure about the 302R rack, I've heard from people that it isn't much different and it's meant for track / slicks and the competition FLCA bushing so the smoothing is removed. If you have the 12+ rack then you won't have...
Anyone with a 302S that can post photos or explain where OEM routed the passenger tank breather hose to? This is the only photo I could find . Trying to figure out best place to route a line for venting after removing EVAP
It's all disabled with the module as it's meant for dedicated RR cars. I do believe it has "comfort" steering feel for pits and low speed, then turns to the "sport" feel at speed.
I did have a batch run made a while back. The guy producing the carbon for me jerked me around a lot. If there is enough interest I could try another supply. They are not cheap to make.

Should be same. I usually buy the OEM hubs & press the ARP Studs in. I have two sets in rotation at all times as I go through these often. I used to buy the FRPP kit, but once you have two sets of the studs its easier to buy just the OE hubs and swap studs over. New nut sometimes too and make...
