    I somehow broke the shifter arm at the back of the trans. Now I have to pull the trans out and replace. Ugghhhh!

    Thanks Scoot! This is the really the first time I've been able to dedicate time to work on this car. I just need to figure out the dash and then start on the cage.

    Decided to put drivetrain in. Went in pretty easy but the long tube headers make it a very tight fit. I'm done for the day, let's see how next week goes.

    Got started early this morning. Just need to make some plates to block off the firewall holes and I can put the drivetrain in.

    Inside and outside firewall painted and ready to be reassembled.

    Break time. Got the firewall primered.

    Got the dash out and now clean up and paint the firewall. Also got the replacement booster, ABS and lines out of the donor.

    Got the bay painted. Now I need to replace the brake booster, ABS and lines. I have the engine bay harness that will go in this weekend as well. Got the dash out so I can install the cage.

    Soda blasting and primer complete so now I don't have to worry about corrosion. Now a coat of paint then i'm hoping to get the drive train in this week.

    That is what i'm assuming. The bellhousing was shredded and the most of the part in the front of the trans fell right out.

    Tranny complete destroyed itself. The fire was centered around the bellhousing. A lot of the parts fell out when I removed the drivetrain.

    Finally got some time to pull the drivetrain. Looks like the tranny blew apart causing all if the damage and fire. I'll get picture of the tranny tomorrow.Soda blasting and hopefully some primer tomorrow.

    Retired. I fix them up and sell them so people can have fun!

    Had a nice weekend at Willow Springs but back to work. Picked up another one to resurrect. I have most of the parts already from the three other wrecks i have.
