I tried searching for this, but I don't exactly know what it is called. On the car behind the hood where the wipers are there is the big plastic cover, if you remove it do you guys think there will be an increase in heat reduction under the hood? Also would there be any issues not having it...
I never set the ebrake while I'm at the track. Sounded like something that didn't want to rotate or hadn't it a good while. I'm pretty positive it was the e-brake. Since @Apex3V commented I have yet to hear the noise again now that I'm paying more attention to the ebrake or not using it...
After my last track day I have noticed sometimes when I put the car in reverse and start to back up it sounds like my driver rear brake is dragging. I haven't seen any issues with my actual caliper, or any oddities on my rotor. There are no issues braking at low speeds or high speeds. All the...
Finally got around to installing my trackspec GT2 center vent this weekend. Install went smoothly. Cutting the holes were less of a hassle than I thought they were going to be. Here are some pictures of the install:Also instead of buying the full kit, I just modified the stock vents to...

Yeah I'm using centric blanks for a 13-14 brembo car. I had to use a washer between the spindle and caliper to center the caliper over the rotor. I wanted to pick up the 6 pots from the s550, but these 4 pots were pretty much given to me from a friend upgrading to the 6 pots.
After some headaches with figuring out what brake lines to use and double checking fitting sizes, I was able to have some made by a friend. Came to the awesome realization after the lines were made that the s197s female to hardline fitting was m10x1 which is what I ordered, but the banjo bolt...
Starting to piece together my front brake conversion to the S550 4 piston calipers. New Rotors came in today, and hopefully pads and new lines will come in later this week. Also Installing new brake ducts, and trackspec hood vent in preparation for my next event at RA with NASA SE in March.
