  1. Alignment spec

Yes, it sounds like I might have to live with this problem. But, what still sticks in my mind is that the inside rib wear I experienced with the alignment properly set according to factory specs looks just like the uneven wear you would expect if you put lowering springs on a stock vehicle and...
  2. Alignment spec

Degrees. Total toe indicated on the printout = 0.13 degrees.
  3. Alignment spec

Remounting is a really good suggestion. Thanks! Current toe is 0.07 Left/ 0.06 Right
  4. Alignment spec

14,800 miles and the front Pirelli P Zeros are done. Had the alignment checked, and all parameters well within Boss specific spec...in fact, the alignment was very, very good in feel as well as technically in spec. So, there appears to be no technical reason why the fronts wore so badly on the...
  5. Dead Battery FYI

Original battery on 2005 F-150 still strong, even kept outside in MN winter where this year we had a month and a half of overnight lows below 0 degrees. The Boss battery is another matter. It is three years old now and still holds a charge. Hasn't gone dead, but doesn't seem to fully charge...
  6. BOSS COINS POLL

    Just ordered one. Thanks!
  7. Serious tire wear

    I have the same problem with excessive inside tire wear on my fronts at 14.5K miles. Factory specs for the boss (not LS)=Camber LH/.RH -0.95 +- 0.75 Total Split= 0 +- .75 Caster LH/RH 7.0 +- 0.75 Total Split= 0 +- .02Toe 0.20 +- 0.20So to set for daily driver, camber/caster...
  8. 2015 official pics leaked

I think it looks fine. Will take some getting used to, but I'm thinking that in person the new car will shine. I'm not entirely sold on the roof design to the body. To me it looks like they glued on the top from one design to the body of another. But, again, in person it might not really...
  9. 2015 official pics leaked

    Looks kinda familiar to me:http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2040/1161/5098080001_large.jpg?v=0
  10. Alignment spec

Left to right only - absolutely. And it's only the front tires that are wearing on the very inside tread portion only, so I'm pretty sure the alignment is the issue. I found the alignment specs for the Boss in another forum so I'll have the alignment checked when I rotate again in the spring.
  11. Who's Selling a Boss for an S550?

In my view, the current (S197) Bosses are the final and best example of the V8-based Pony car and the end of that evolution. The Mustangs will continue to evolve, but for me this iteration tracks back to the beginning and is the one I grew up with. I plan to keep it until I go under the...
  12. Alignment spec

Just as FYI, I haven't touched the alignment from delivery and with 14.5K on the PZeros, the general wear is fine except the insides of both front tires are significantly worn down. I've rotated every 5K with the next one due when I unwrap the car in the spring. My assumption was that the...
  13. Ticking Sound

I have the same sound on my 2012. Initially thought it was header gasket leak after the bolts heated and cooled over the first 4k miles or so, so had dealer tighten everything back to spec. I noticed it again over this summer - I now have 14K on it and almost ready to put it away for the...
  14. Boss vs. 2014 Z28

The camparisons aren't exactly apples to apples - I agree. I do agree that when the bow tie guys had to pick the best Mustang to compare on the track, the Boss LS was indeed the best Ford had. Having said that, the power numbers the 427 Z/28 has over the 302 Boss LS are just to much to...
  15. 2 years and a day

Two years back on May 27...I'll have that date etched on my memory along with my wedding anniversary (yes I do remember that every year - good advice guys). About 11,500 miles on her now, but I store it every winter.
