I’m here to get the most out of my track days in my stock - for now - ‘15 GT with performance pack and have as much fun as I can. I’ve always daily driven sports cars or “muscle cars” and I now daily drive this car so will be performing minimal modifications that will reduce drive ability/reliability.
I have no actual organized Track Day experience but am a long time car enthusiast and just purchased my first mustang.
My first car was a 89 iroc camaro and I’ve been modifying/racing them ever since. I own a ‘01 ws6 that I built to auto-x…and then turbo charged... which has limited it to a street/strip only car.
I recently purchased a 48k mile bone stock ‘15 GT with performance pack and intend to take this to track days as much as possible. In anticipation of this I’ve read multiple forums educating myself on this car and purchased a BMR Cradle bushing lockout kit and Steeda “jacking rails” to Remove two weaknesses I could see and read about in the forums that could help with chassis flex/wheel hop etc.
My vehicle/track experience is limited to turning wrenches, drag strip racing and spirited street driving but I am attending my first HPDE with Jzilla at raceway road Atlanta in August in the 15 GT and hope to learn my car/increase my driving ability.
