  1. Need Quick Answer - Ford High Perfomance Dot 4 Brake Fluid

Interesting. Part number on my invoice is PM-20. Guess you would have to ask for PM-21 specifically, otherwise, they just default to giving you the Hi-Po DOT4 I guess until they run out?
  2. Need Quick Answer - Ford High Perfomance Dot 4 Brake Fluid

Thanks for all the input guys. Have the new Ford DOT4 HiPo fluid in her now and ready to do some laps around Mosport. Actually captured the process on my dashcam. Tech did a good job. And after putting the wheels back on, took it out for a drive (respectfully....he new the dashcam was on), and...
  3. Need Quick Answer - Ford High Perfomance Dot 4 Brake Fluid

DOT3 absorbs moisture as well (I think), but perhaps less so than DOT4?
  4. Need Quick Answer - Ford High Perfomance Dot 4 Brake Fluid

Just doing a lapping day. Will be the 3rd one in 3 yrs....so figured I'd go with the DOT4 performance stuff....to be safe. Thanks for the quick reply! Given that the spec. in the 302 supplement (racing prep) matches the one on the bottle, think I'm safe having the dealer add it.
  5. Need Quick Answer - Ford High Perfomance Dot 4 Brake Fluid

Boss 302 Supplement indicates you can add Ford DOT4 LV High Perf. brake fluid, referenced Super Duty Dot 4, and a spec.# (don't have it in front of me unfortunately). Dealer called me concerned that the Boss is Dot 3 from factory and info. on the stuff I want them to use says not to put in cars...
  6. Brake Flush

Mostly street driving for me with one or two track/lapping days a year. The car has seen two track days since I bought it in spring of 2014. Both times @ Mosport on the Grand Prix (long) track; I'd say a total of about 2 hrs on the track (15 -20mins sessions) to date. Would not consider it a...
  7. Racing an M3 and M4 at Thunderhill in the Boss LS-M4 Off-road Excursion

Nice run. Amazing how fast things can get out of shape. Fortunate not to have a wall or barrier there to run into.
  8. Anyone with Corsa Extreme Axel Backs?

Completed the install of my Corsa Extremes last Friday afternoon in my driveway. The drivers side was a real PITA and ended up not being able to get one of the two muffler hanger prongs (closest to the axel pipe) properly inserted into the hanger's rubber grommet. Ended up slightly below the...
  9. Brake Flush

On a related note, what brake fluids are preferred?
  10. Two Boss 302S/Trans Am ponies dualing it out.

Cool. What type of brake pads are you running on Thor? Pretty squeaky compared to the other BOSS.
  11. Two Boss 302S/Trans Am ponies dualing it out.

Cool. That Vette sure put some distance on the both of them fast!
  12. Opinions on Ford ESP

My 12 Boss had an excessive oil consumption problem and I have the track key. The service advisor indicated the tech saw that as well. My long block was replaced under the drive train warranty and there was never a word mentioned about the Track Key. Ford seems to be honoring the fact that Boss'...
  13. Difficulty level of Changing Axel Back Mufflers
