Literally melted the same exact line and mine wouldn't fill either. I'd recommend cutting this out and replacing just that section with line as the whole assembly isn't exactly the cheapest piece.

I'm curious too. How long does your car sit in between uses? Wouldn't the oil in the lines seep back into the pan over a certain amount of time? I guess it would depend on how and how high the cooler is mounted in relation to the filter location.
