Good stuff. Obviously you're getting pro assembly by them, but I really like how the kit is laid out with all the printed ovals and numbered tubes. It's a real nice touch that makes it easy to assemble even for those of us who went to public schools.
Wish I had even farther OOTM puts against them, as their inability to produce cars increases my ability to produce racecars. Hyundai just added/pledged $51B for their EV programs, and the Saudis just pumped another bil into Lucid, this isn't financial advice, but it might be worth considering...
How in the hell did I miss this? Thanks for all the birthday wishes.Spent the weekend working in the car and on the missus and to answer your question Bill: mentally, yes, just out of puberty; physically, ready for the nursing home where I can look forward to the numerous STDs running rampant.
I think your plan for ST2 is the way to go. You also could go silly on aero, I was practically running a 4x8 sheet of plywood on the front, and from the last I read through them, there's nothing much about the wing and nothing about the rear diffuser, as long as it's attached to the car. Would...
Greetings and a well-belated but still Happy New Year to you as well, curious reader.TL;DR: Nah, cage painted.Like everyone else, money is tight which has the car sitting for longer than I'd like it to. We've all heard some variation of "the best way to win a million racing... is to start...
I actually stayed stock, for two reasons.
1- Ryan Flaherty and I had a decent talk about it the other year, and the impression I got was that NASA sees/values it for the geometric benefit moreso than the weight savings, which totally makes sense, stock sucks. I didn't feel that given my ratio...
The professional in me says: create an air gap. Costs you nothing, easily performed by removing the fuse to the modem (or the whole unit) from your car. Fuse location is clearly marked in your driver manual.
Guessing some environmental ban lifts on the massive toxic dump underneath the track, and they're going to build warehouses to expose a bunch of people to it for 34.444 hours a week. The plan was to cap the main straightaway into the pit lane entrance/exit into a 1/4 mile loop, and have already...
While I have a Coyote, the e85 certainly helped with keeping temps low, running just fine on 115 days when everybody else couldn't, and since we lost Auto Club Speedway, there's no more banked high G left turns in SoCal that'll require you going out with a full tank. I can understand your...
I found them liking things around 31-32# hot with a decent camber starting off around 23-24 cold, and recall having delamination issues on fresh tires a few times. They started off quick and I thought they were a great bang/buck tire right around when the RE-71R was going away and the SC3R rose...
