  1. 5.1L coyote swapped - Further cooling mods for road course

My god!!! That thing is still pulling to 8000 mine starts closing down at 7200 :-( What are the specs on your cams?
  2. Boss 302 Seat Delete X brace installed!

I can tell you it definitely stiffens it up!! I can jack up the entire side of the car now and it lifts straight up. Big difference. Like when I added a full cage to my 95 Steeda Q
  3. Huge brake upgrade for S197 chassis

YUP!! That is what I have on mine!! I got my calipers for under $100 from some dude who upgraded to the 6pGT350 set. As an s195 at #3200 they are insane!! I'm running Hawk pads. direct bolt on with gt500 rotors.
  4. Coyote Swap into 05-09 GT update.

sure! If the clearance works I'll order another..
  5. Help me quiet the beast

cool! Email me [email protected] lets make a deal. The old lady across the street gave me the Evil eye today and smacked her husband when he gave me a thumbs up. I would hate to be the reason for domestic violence....
  6. Help me quiet the beast

So built coyote 505 RWHP and she is way, way too loud. JBA long tubes with off road X (catted version not available) 3 “ 3-chamber 20” long resonators into factory over axle pipes into Ford Racing/ Roush round mufflers. Still way too loud and considering Vettes, GT500s and other high end cars...
  7. Rear seat delete - X brace kit FRPP now under 1k

And now they are over $1500 IF and that is IF someone still has in stock as they are now discontinued and no longer being built :-( basically they have become machine guns. Mine:
  8. Cheap, reliable track car?

+1!!! I agree. I could/can "when she is track worthy" flat out drive 10/10 the Miata and not worry about killing myself nor hurting the little girl, tons of fun.But I still prefer a basic s197 for an open track day, never could induce torque oversteer on any Miata except for our Monster...
  9. Boss 302 Seat Delete X brace installed!

It is spendy now but for the detail and OEM quality are well worth it. I was going to get one from Summitt when they were $800 but had a mechanical issue that those funds went to. Next time I looked around they are $1200 and now $1700. I managed to pick this one up for near nothing and a 4...
  10. HELP!!!! Gas pedal not working car starts, idles

Had to use FORESCAN and got two pedal codes. I replaced the pedal. Actually much smoother and less sensitive.
  11. HELP!!!! Gas pedal not working car starts, idles

So today I get in the car and after start up and idle the gas pedal stopped working.Car will idle and the first time after start I hit the pedal and it will rev once and that's it. I kill the car, restart, let idle and I can rev once and then no pedal response.WTAF?
  12. Cheap, reliable track car?

LOL!!! Because that is a car for open track and not parking lots. Power and big brakes are mostly unusable in auto cross. Small, light momentum cars rule auto cross.
  13. Cheap, reliable track car?

I have a spec Miata but for a cheap track car and being a mustang guy I would do a 05-09 Mustang over any SN-95 chassis. I was running a 95 Cobra R Steeda Q back in T1 and my stock 05 GT kicked the crap out of it. The chassis stiffness, layout 3 link are all far and above anything you can do...
  14. 18 Active exhaust or other quiet muffler on 11-14

So coyote with long tubes, no cats but 3” x 24” long resonators with Ford racing mufflers the lady is still very loud. What are options for very, Very quiet but flow well mufflers?
