I had the same problem with my 2016, if you use Forscan you can turn the pump on and off, if you look at the schematic there is a separate line running to the pump for diagnostic testing.
When the pump runs normally it gets its signal from a different line in the ecu. I went to multiple Ford...
I have experienced this on the Porsche Cayman R I had, it only happened on one turn of one track. As explained to me you need to quickly let go of the brake and re apply the brake pressure to get your full pressure back. It seems to happen under very rare instances to the car when it is unloaded...
Sorry I think I asked the question incorrectly, I would like to know if the car with the baffles closed performs OK with the extra back pressure, is the computer adjusting OK or does the car run a little choked or any other symptoms with baffles closed and in track mode with wide open throttle.
Has anyone tested the grimspeed plug on the track and was there any adverse effect on car performance, I have an opportunity to go to mt tremblanc but they have a 92dbA limit at 50 ft and if there is no issue at full throttle I can confirm, my attendance.
Do you have a part number for those Kohr's nuts, I have been trying to contact them for a few days no reply and their website doesn't describe the seat sizes of the nuts.
Thanks
Yes that sums it up, I have gone thru the service manual as well but the problem to me is that the software is not being activated all hardware works, but a second set of eyes doesn't hurt.
The pump does pump when I change the diff fluid and I use forscan to activate it you can hear it change pitch as the fluid starts to go thru it plus when draining the diff it pumps the bal. of fluid out. It won't turn on when it is supposed to when it gets hot. Because the dealer finds no codes...
I am just outside Toronto Ontario. When this was going on I did talk to Lund and they say their programming does not have anything to do with software associated with the diff, I later put the stock tune back in and received the same results no DTC triggered and the pump not turning from the...
Hi everyone, I am new to the forum, and have some insight from my experience with diff temperature at the track. I also have been experiencing 270+ temps. I had Ford check my pump and they said all was good, but what I found out is that forcing the pump on with forscan or other program the pump...
